“The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies. What do ye imagine against the Lord ? He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.” 🔻🔸🔺🔸🔻Nahum 1:7-9🔻🔸🔻🔸🔻 It doesn’t matter how nice and acceptable trouble will package itself, the fact that we hold onto and stay by the Lord, we can never be defeated. I don’t know what you are going through now but the fact that the Lord is for us, nothing can be against us. I declare you and I victorious. May those that are waiting for our downfall be defeated always. May God always give us the upper hand in Jesus Christ’s name. Circuit Dominic
When you experientially apprehend the reality of being seated with Christ in heavenly places , you will begin to comprehend and understand the hope to which he has called you as the eyes of your heart are flooded with His light.
There is such a higher purpose to living than just what you see. SEE ABOVE your circumstances. SEE ABOVE earth. You are better than this! Bought with a price, more precious than gold. Worth the death of the Son. Worth His taking off deity for a time and coming down to this sometimes “hell-hole” to rescue you from the clutches of that ancient enemy who hates you and wants to take you with him to hell. You were made in His image so you are hated just like He was and is. At the cross, the ruler of this world was defeated. Hang on to THAT and never give up my friend. NEVER until the end!
“And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”
He didn’t die so you could have a “cushy life” living in the lap of luxury. IF you are living in luxury it is to GIVE and ONLY to GIVE. GOD IS NOT A HOARDER and neither should we be. He did not send His Son to die for TEMPORAL gain and to be selfish. He died to wash away your sin, to take away YOUR unrighteousness. ALWAYS we need to be cognizant of the fact that we DESERVE DEATH, that we need to take up our cross DAILY, and to show our GRATITUDE by SERVING others in all humility just as JESUS did. A servant is not ABOVE his master. Let’s be a “Giver” like He was.
Let’s get our minds on HIS HEART. If you are not sure what that is, get into the word and ask him INTO ALL of you and ALL of your life. You will not be alone. HE will be your MAIN teacher. You will learn to discern HIS voice from the world, the flesh, and the devil.
Don’t LET ANYONE be your SOURCE of spiritual guidance no matter how ‘anointed’ they may seem, no matter how “big their ministry is,” no matter how many members they have, no matter if they say they have seen JESUS, or even how right they have been. They are ALL wrong in some things- including me. We need to always TEST the spirits, and JUDGE every prophecy. As long as we are still in our earthly bodies, we cannot trust anyone or ourselves. PUT NO CONFIDENCE IN THE FLESH. This is why we will get glorified bodies one day. When we do, ALL sin will be removed from us. We ARE saved, our minds are being saved (renewal of your mind is a constant process), but our bodies (earth suit if you will) cannot be saved. This is why we need to take up our cross DAILY. You can do this with His help.
Some people thrive on starting arguments. Avoid them. It’s an attempt by the enemy to distract you and steal your precious time. Even if they are “Christian” don’t fall for it- it’s harassment plain and simple.
I had to distance myself from some so- called ministers in the body of Christ who refuse to concern themselves with the spiritual well-being of those under the authority of a fallen leader. It seems the leader is more important to these ministers. God help us all. God help the victims. We have lost our way when we have put leaders above others. It is no different than the Catholic Church who looked the other way when boys were molested by some priests.
“Another kind of religious leader must arise among us. He must be of the old prophet type, a man who has seen visions of God and has heard a voice from the Throne. When he comes (and I pray God there will be not one but many) he will stand in flat contradiction to everything our smirking smooth civilization holds dear.
He will contradict, denounce and protest in the name of God and will earn the hatred and opposition of a large segment of Christendom. Such a man is likely to be a mean, rugged, blunt spoken and a little bit angry with the world. He will love Christ and the souls of men to the point of willingness to die for the glory of the one in the salvation of the other. But he will fear nothing that breathes mortal breath. “
